Tajemnice Myszkoburgu część 1.

Mouseburg has many secrets. One which you already know is is the underground Goblin Village. But how to get there? The brave adventurer will have to find a secret passage. One of which is located in the kitchen's pantry, behind a rotating shelf laid with all manner of goodies.

Myszkoburg skrywa wiele tajemnic. Jedną, o której już wiecie jest podziemna Wioska Goblinów. Lecz jak do niej dotrzeć? Dzielny śmiałek będzie musiał odnaleźć sekretne przejście. Jedno z nich ukryto w przykuchenej spiżarni, tuż za obracającym się regałem wypełnionym wszelkiego rodzaju łakociami.

Next stage is the ground floor. In the left wing we will locate the kitchen (on the right), the pantry (in the middle) and the secrete elevator to the Goblin Village.

Następnym etapm jest parter zamku. W lewym skrzydle ulokuję kuchnię (po prawej), spiżarnię (w środku) oraz sekretną windę do Wioski Goblinów.

Each part of the floor will be separated with a small wall section made of foamcore which I carved to resemble stonework.

Każdą z części piętra oddzielać będzie mała ściana wykonana z foamcore, który ponacinałem żeby przypominał kamienne ściany.

A secret passage will be located between the pantry and the elevator. I've cut out a piece of the wall and inserted a shelf in the opening. Note that there is a portion of the wall left around the shelves which will be glued together hiding the clever accessway.

Tajemne przejście zostanie umiszczone pomiędzy spiżarnią i windą. Wyciąłem kwałek ściany i umieściłem w nim regał. Zwróćcie uwagę na to, że wokół regału pozostała część ściany, którą przykleję do regału ukrywając to zmyślne przjeście.

How will the secret passage work? It will be rotating - set on a disc-shaped piece of the floor.

Jak będzie działało to przejście? Będzie się obracało - ściana z regałem poruszać się będzie na wyciętym w podłodze kole.

With the use of a circular knife I've cut a circle in the pasticard floor cladding. Our foamcore wall will go through the center of the cut-out shape. I've made certain not to cut by the edge as it would make the circle stick out and could compromise the stability of the mechanism.

Przy pomocy noża-cyrkla wyciąłem koło w arkuszu plasticard'u, którym pokryję posadzkę tego piętra. Nasza ściana z foamcore będzie przechodziła przez sam środek koła. Postarałem się nie wycinać kształtu na samej krawędzi arkusza, gdyż obawiałem się, że wycięcie będzie zbyt widoczne a sam mechanizm utraci na sztywności konstrukcji.

I plan to drill a hole in the floor-shelf just under the center of the circle. Then I will glue a small handle to keep the circle in the position and enable smooth rotation.
Planuję wywiercić dziurę w piętrze-półce tuż pod środkiem wycięego koła. Następnie przykleję małą źwignię blokującą ten wycięty kawałek posadzki w miejscu i umożliwiającą swobodne obracanie.

How do You like it so far? Fennimore cannot wait for the final effect and too grab some sweets from the pantry.
I jak się Wam podoba? Fennimore nie może się doczekać efektu końcowego i połasuchowania w spiżarni.
